Community Based Programs

Lake Nakuru Lodge has been instrumental in setting up and maintaining Baruku IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Camp. This is inhabited by about 1300 people who lost ther homes in the 2007 post election violence and are being encouraged to regain their self-sufficiency. Guests at Lake Nakuru Lodge have the opportunity to visit the camp. All donations are very welcome.
